One year since my last update. Wow. That is amazing. I mean, I've gone long stretches of time without updating before, but one year? Craziness.
I don't want to make this a sappy "Oh! Where has the time gone?!" post though. In fact, I don't really want it to contain too much of anything. Really, I just want everyone to know that I'm alive, pretty decent and haven't really been loyal to my xanga. Also, you can reset your countdown clocks to the time of my next post. It'll probably be another year...

| It's been almost one month since I last got my xanga on. Probably it
would've been longer, but I just wanted to put a little update in here
about one thing: ice cream. I'm sitting in my living room while
everyone is here for my mom's birthday. It's also my birthday too.
Well, not today, but it will be on November 22nd. Anyway, the important
thing is that we're having cake right now. Specifically, ice cream cake.
I kind of like that a lot.

| Confession time: I downloaded a song from the original Mortal Kombat
movie soundtrack last night. It's not something I'm proud of. Honestly,
I don't know what I was thinking. It was more one of those "my finger
hit the buy button before my mind knew what it was doing." In case
you're wondering, it's the main theme song they played on a lot of the
previews in 1995 when the movie came out. I think it has a guy shouting
"Mortal Kombat" in the background while a bunch of techno-sounding
fight music plays.
Wow. Upon reading what I wrote, I'm taken aback. That doesn't happen often. Like I said, I'm pretty ashamed right now.

| You may notice from my "Currently Listening" deal on this page that the
Aladdin soundtrack is playing over my speakers right now. I had
forgotten how much I love this music. I remember dancing to it when it
first came out. What can I say? I was 9 years old, had a lot of energy
and liked to keep moving as much as I possibly could. I also remember listening
to it in my sister
Jennifer's old Cutlass Supreme. The memory that sticks out the most in
my mind is the one where her and I were driving in the car. Then she
hit me in the face.
I'm pretty sure that didn't actually happen even though I remember it. At least I've got some memories. Who cares if they're made up, right?

| I'm watching Jeopardy right now and I never realized how
condescending
Alex Trebec could be. The question (it's actually the answer, but who
cares, right?) was "Cream City", Wisconsin; no one rang in and after 7
seconds the buzzer sounded the time was out. Alex then said, "Come on.
What cities
are there in Wisconsin? It's Milwaukee -- the obvious. Next question."
I actually thought Madison. Or Sheboygan. OK, I didn't really think Sheboygan,
but I wish I had now. Honestly though, who cares what I thought? The point of all
this is that Alex Trebec is a pretentious asshole.
Your move, Alex.
